Okay, but I Need To Talk About This

I am 1000% sure someone else has already pointed this out about This Particular Bit, but I haven’t stumbled on any of those posts on it yet and if I don’t talk about it then I Am Going To Actually Explode From Feels.

Okay. Okay. So like.... Listen. Liiiisten. Just Listen.

We always see Az on the left and Cro on the right, and that’s on purpose. Human brains are Weird Little Shits, and we see left-side-oriented things with lateral movement to the right as Good Things, and right-side-oriented things with lateral movement to the left as Bad Things. it’s a thing filmmakers are Very Aware Of and use to subtly influence how we view things in their films.

And what do we have here? Az is on the right, walking towards the left, which our brains read as A Bad Move; and Cro is on the left walking towards the right, which our brains read as A Good Move....

Also? Az is very clearly making a pin-straight bee-line across the screen, whereas Cro, as always, just kind of.... wanders vaguely rightwards with everyone’s favourite snakehipped saunter.

And my pretends-to-be-black-and-twisted But Is Actually a-precious-lil-wibbly-wobbly-emotional-mess fanheart cannot handle this by itself!
