Good Omens theory

Okay, so episode 4 of Good Omens when Crowley is looking at the universe and all, and he's like oh I helped make that nebula then he questions God but then proceeds to say that "you said you were going to test them blah blah" so my point is, is it possible that God and Crowley were a bit more talkative to one another..? That could also link as to how Crowleys falling was because he asked questions and the people he hung out with possibly being the higher ups and he would question all their actions such as the drowning of children and whatnot??? Idk If this has already been done but yeet
