and I highly recommend them, especially if you have a small bedroom. I had one for both years that I was in a dorm. They’re not as expensive as you might think ($130 new at Walmart for a twin sized mattress, and there were a bunch on craigslist for $30-80). If you want to buy a used one now is a great time because a lot of college students are moving.

though it’s definitely annoying when you get up there and then realize you forgot something, so if you do get one I recommend having a shelf within reach or getting a “caddy” organizer to hang off it
