Huntacular Googie Game Giveaway - FINAL WINNERS!
Yes, we have the final winners! For round 6, everyone got an entry into the grand prize drawing because, well, once again, there were googies hidden all over the place...
(decided against adding MORE images because it takes forever and this is already so long)
-ROTG-
Jack's laughter bounced through the tunnel as he raced as fast as he could after a certain crazy blue googie. He held four others, cradling them close to his chest like a treasure. Because they were. Each was absolutely exquisite- perfectly painted with a little scene featuring a Guardian playing with children as they did their usual jobs. Tooth, North, Sandy and Bunny each took center stage on one of the eggs. And each googie had given him an amazing memory, because Jack had found them in the homes of their respective Guardians. In the past two hours, he'd tumbled out of holes and into a special egg hunt at the Pole, the Tooth Palace, the Warren and Sandy's Island. It was the biggest game he'd played since that night they'd collected teeth two years ago. A few times, he'd pop up to find another Guardian also just arriving there via Bunny-tunnel. Apparently they were all playing the Easter game! They'd barely have time to exchange an excited smile and breathless laugh before they'd have to take off in opposite directions to chase after their respective eggs. Although when he would glance back at them- he loved watching people having fun- it looked like the other Guardians were finding it easier to keep up with their googies. He seemed to be the only one with a super-speedy egg that ran around erratically and popped down and up through at least six additional holes in each location before leading him to the general location of a hidden egg. Turns out even Jack Frost can get dizzy eventually. But the best part was what he discovered when he held the four eggs up together. The scenes blended perfectly with each other, side-by-side, no matter which way he turned them or in what order he arranged them. The scenes were naturally linked, the Guardians and their locations joined to become one somehow. If he got to keep them, it'd be like the four were with him, too, wherever and whenever he wanted. Definitely better than the snow Guardian figures he sometimes made to play with. Ah! Light at the end of the tunnel! With an final burst of speed, Jack shot up through the hole and flipped to a hovering stop ten feet in the air. With a happy cry he immediately landed and ran forward. He was in the park by Jamie's house, in Burgess, and there were all his favorite kids- his co-conspirators in setting up the final round of the game for Bunny. All the other Guardians were right there, too, beaming their welcome. The kids cheered his name as he ran up to the group. Tooth was laughing and holding five eggs. "Bunny, that was really wild." Her tone rang with approval. Bunny stood with his arms crossed, looking quite smug, a flock of mini fairies darting between him and Tooth before flocking over to Jack. "Figured a few other homes needed invading." Sandy made a series of question marks, running eggs and images of the Guardians and their domains. "I may have had a mite a' help scoping things out…" He looked pointedly at the little tooth fairies, who all started cheering. "And gotten a few good reminders of what a hunt really is," He looked at North, who didn't try to hide the mischief in his smile, "Certainly wouldn't have had the energy ta set it up on top of everything else without a solid rest," Sandy and Bunny exchanged knowing glances. "An' most importantly, I had a good lesson in why we're here." He glanced around at the children who were bouncing about in triumph. Then the Pooka looked up at the one who had planned it all and gave a nod of approval and a grateful smile. Jack's eyes sparkled as if his own blue magic filled them. He laughed and held up the gift eggs with a responding nod. "Bunny makes good point! Are we here to talk or for playing?!" North set his five eggs down and they immediately took off. Within moments, all the Guardians had let loose their googies, and the Burgess kids began the most epic egg hunt of their lives. -ROTG- Eventually, they all moved to Jamie's yard, playing slightly quieter games and chatting. Jack sat creating little mounds of snow to hide his five googies. Jamie and Cupcake were taking turns trying to guess which one was where- hopefully before a wriggling little leg popped out and spoiled the mystery. Jack was telling the whole story of the Easter game they had set up for Bunny, and then describing the one Bunny had set up for them in return. "So we wound up here in the end, which was the best part." Jamie looked thoughtful for a moment. "So you visited all the other Guardians' homes and then stopped here." "Yup." Cupcake seemed to catch on. "What about your home?" "Uh. Well-" "This is your home!" Jamie beamed, throwing his arms in the air. Cupcake nodded with a firm look. "With us." Jamie hopped from foot to foot. "It's the only thing that makes sense!" Jack's breath had already hitched at their words even before Jamie exuberantly threw his arms around the winter Guardian. Cupcake was only a second behind with one of her soft and blissful smiles that emerged from behind her fierce strength on rare occasions. The frost spirit instinctively shifted to hold the children even closer. Over their heads, Jack made eye contact with Bunny. The Easter Guardian was sitting a couple yards away on the porch with Sophie, who was currently putting glitter on an egg she had just painted. He had an arm around Sophie, but the Pooka had clearly been watching the snowy players, a smile of satisfaction and pride on his face. Jack felt that smile right down to his toes and thought his face might crack like a googie from the one he was sending back. Bunny's expression turned a few shades softer, but Jack was already looking down at Jamie. The boy had begun to speak as he glanced between the two Guardians. "I told you he'd like your game, Jack. Can't believe you were worried, this was totally the funnest Easter ever!" Jack pretended he hadn't seen Bunny's ears flick in their direction from the corner of his eye, pretended he didn't see the raised brow, and he very definitely didn't look back up at the Pooka. Hastily, he set up another round of the snow game as Claude, Caleb and North came over to join them. -ROTG- Jack and Bunny were the last to leave as the evening started to steal the light and the kids were reluctantly departing for Easter dinner with their families. The quintet of eggs Jack held from his hunt had finally settled down and appeared to be sleeping. He was still waving his free arm at Jamie, who was closing his door veeery slowly so he could keep visual contact with his magical friends for as long as he could. Bunny stood beside Jack and scratched the ruff of fur on his chest as he spoke casually. "Y'know, they're not quite complete." Jack blinked up at him, finally lowering his arm now that Jamie had closed the door. "The last googie needs a little… polishing." He plucked the original blue egg that had led Jack on a chase around the world from the boy's arms. It immediately began kicking its legs, the wicked face glaring. "Feistiest of the bunch, I'd wager." "Yeah, I noticed. You may want to reprogram that one. Even I almost couldn't keep up." "Even you, eh?" Bunny smirked. "At least it wasn't a rabbit, mate." Jack snorted and lifted his staff to his shoulder. "You're right. I wouldn't have liked being held back." He hopped out of the way with a laugh when Bunny shoved an elbow in his direction. Then his expression turned sincere as he began to hover in the air, preparing to leave. "Thanks for... the eggs. I'll try not to break them." Bunny couldn't help a chuckle. He didn't think Jack realized how at odds his carefree tone was with the very careful way he was cradling the googies. "You're forgetting one, Frostbite." Bunny held out the blue egg, which began to glow. He smirked again as Jack instantly landed in front of him with a look of expectant wonder on his face. Such a kid. The surface of the egg swirled until its abstract shapes reformed into a scene to match the others of the set. This one had a playful winter spirit with merry blue eyes leading a snowball fight. Jack looked up at Bunny, mouth open in surprise as he finally began to realize... Bunny took the other four eggs from Jack and held them up together. They jumped and twirled, the scenes shifting but never disconnecting the five Guardians. The different colors and shapes fit, the same way they formed a harmony in the Warren's variety of flowers. "Y'see? They belong together. Then it doesn't matter where they are, it's all one home anyway." The smile began to fall from Bunny's face as Jack's expression went blank. The blue eyes… they looked as clear and fragile as glass. Bunny didn't spare a thought for the eggs he held, as Jack threw his arms around the Pooka in a fierce hug, face buried in grey chest fur. Thankfully they were his eggs, so they were clever enough to scramble up his arms the second he opened them for Jack. The googies were already perched on his shoulders as Bunny circled his arms around the frost spirit just as tightly as he was being held. "That's home, Jack."

Weeell. 'K, I have all the votes finally tallied in my spreadsheet (why did I create two layers to this?!) and the final part of the story written- it's a 1.5k word count which is pushing the limit on what I'm willing to put in a Tumblr post, ugh...
But I still need to get everything into the Randomizer to pick the winners and do a few photos edits.
...and I need to leave for a few hours now. X( Sorry, will post it all tonight, though!
