how do I move files from my google storage to my device storage? google keeps yelling at me that my storage is getting full but I have over 400gb of storage available on my phone

But I can't figure out how the fuck to move my photo and video files. all google wants me to do is delete them. or pay them money to increase storage.

BUT WHY WOULD I DO THAT IF I HAVE SO MUCH FREE SPACE ON MY PHONE??

WHY CAN'T I CLICK ON A FOLDER AND MOVE THE WHOLE SHEBANG TO INTERNAL STORAGE??? THAT USED TO BE A THING!!

I’ve had my Gmail account for over 12 years and I’ve almost never deleted an email.  For 3 1/2 years, all my photos taken on my phone have auto-backed up to Google Photos.  Google Storage is now telling me I’m almost out of space available.  Guess me and the delete button have some work to do.
