Good news! Google UK seems to be against an under 16 social media ban

They seem to have more sense than Google in the US, which does require age verfication to use certain features if the AI detects you are under age. Yeah, it's ridiculous as it sounds. AI sucks at guessing, so it falsely flags people all the time. 🙄😒
Just like managing director for Google UK, Kate Alessi said in the article:
- This definitely does/could push children to more dangerous online spaces and remove parental choice. (I have made other posts about that!)
- She also emphasizes "appropriate guardrails". (I also agree with that, too! Parents need to be responsible, and there are already guardrails put in!)
