Good news! Google UK seems to be against an under 16 social media ban

They seem to have more sense than Google in the US, which does require age verfication to use certain features if the AI detects you are under age. Yeah, it's ridiculous as it sounds. AI sucks at guessing, so it falsely flags people all the time. 🙄😒

Just like managing director for Google UK, Kate Alessi said in the article:

- This definitely does/could push children to more dangerous online spaces and remove parental choice. (I have made other posts about that!)

- She also emphasizes "appropriate guardrails". (I also agree with that, too! Parents need to be responsible, and there are already guardrails put in!)

The only thing that has changed is that people now think that it is somehow guaranteed to be rich and have love and are more upset about it when it does not happen and more demanding about thinking it should come to them.  In the old days, when I started out doing clairvoyant readings, people would ask me if they will meet their soul mate and if you gave them bad news they accepted it. Nowadays if you tell them no they shout and  scream and call you names, or demand their money back,  or go somewhere else until someone says what they want to hear. They think they are entitled to a perfect life.

Hey guys, we recently went to the Google Store in London, and loved it! The best feature is its huge life size Google Earth machine which lets you instantly fly around the world. Also, on display is sections on Google's VR platform daydream, Google Photos, devices like the Pixel and Chromecast and more.

It's located in the heart of London's technology street, Tottenham Court Road, inside the Curry's PC World megastore. Totally worth checking out if you're in the area.
