I just got the dreaded Google email of thinking that I'm a minor even though I'mold than the damn company. I don't want to give them my info, I can't really de-google because I honestly don't trust anything, but I don't know what's going to happen if I just do nothing. I'm scared of them deleting my email after 14 days or whatever. My mom keeps telling me to just give them the ID or credit card. I'm sorry if I'm bothering you, but I'm not sure what to do, I hate having constant panic attacks because of this.
Here’s some info on disabling and deleting
If you’re using a Google email, please do check for other ways of verifying your age. I’m willing to bet there are other ways of doing that, that won’t be as invasive as showing your ID or credit card. But here’s two ways that I’ve found from searching online
The first one is credit card verification, but you will not be sending them a photo of your credit card . Instead they will be charging your credit card to see if you’re an adult or not.
It’s slightly safer since they don’t have your info, but it does have issues like exclusion if you don’t have a credit card.
The second one is using an email for age verification, which is basically them sending your email to a third party to check if you’re above 18.
Yes, this method is very invasive, but not as invasive as giving your ID or credit card away.
I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to find anything perfect, I wish you the best of luck.
I’m hopeful every will work out and if you need anymore help, please do ask :)
