goran gora is a latvian singer-songwriter who has won significant acclaim from music critics and listeners locally and also considerable airplay internationally. initially introduced to audiences as a latvian answer to damien rice, goran found his own sound mixing acoustic instruments with various synths, drum machines and other electronical instruments and effects. his latest full album "hold me close when it comes" (2011) is recorded unplugged in its entirety though.

goran has also been asked to write scores for theatre plays and has successfully collaborated with state choir "latvija", despite his lack of formal musical education.
