Since the very beginning of the movie, we are warned that this one is not a love story, but a story about love. Just so you know, don’t put your expectation too high, the ending might make you happy or the other way, sad. Just follow the story.

This movie is one of my favourite. Among any other movie, it never makes me feel like “enough”, for I always want to re-watch it all over again. It may be my 5th or 6th times watching this movie. The first time I watched the movie, I took it very personally, I was a broken hearted girl - watching a broken hearted movie yet beautiful story - I totally messed up that day.

But these days, the 4th-6th times I watched it, I kept myself thinking, is it love that make us broke? And I found out that “it’s the expectation”. There are days when we met someone and we felt in love so deep, thinking that he/she is the one who we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with, but then again, life told you just the opposite. And yeah, it meant to be like that.

Sometimes we’re deadly in love, sometimes somebody deadly in love with us. It just the way it goes. A never ending cycle, but only until we find “the real one”. When those days come, we give each other an endless love.

Anyway, enough for the bla bla bla about love. This movie has great soundtracks, such as Carla Bruni’s, The Smiths’s, Temper Trap’s. It matches perfectly with the scenes. Talking about the scenes, it takes us forwards and backwards randomly yet still understandable. The stars, Zooey Deschanel and Joseph-Gordon Levitt, I once hoped that they would be a couple in real life hahaha. They played it great!
