Finally! After having this book, literally since it came out, it’s finally READ. However, i’m not capable of giving a proper NOVEL review. SO this will be a quicky.
Needless to say, i picked an awesome first Star wars novel to finish. It’s star wars and zombies mixed. what’s not to love? the horror element was in no short supply in this book of course. The author did an amazing job at bringing the gore to life in book form. I could see it all very well and at times, feel and smell the gore and horror.
YES! I am a Gore Whore.
I loved all the characters we are shown. Whether good, bad or just there, it was a fun party. I found myself caring for all of them. Having Chewie and Han in it just made it that much better. When you are getting scared for a characters survival, you got something going.
I don’t read books like i watch movies. (not counting comic books). For me to get emotionally involved with a character in this form, is a huge plus for me.
Means good writing and myself opening up to love this form even more.
So for those like me who are late to this novels viewing party, come on in. It’s awesome for star wars lovers. Horror and gore lovers. So much to enjoy.
I give Star Wars: Death Troopers, a 10/10
