ID: This is a lightly rendered comic-style sketch of a sneak peek scene from the 15th chapter of Paradigm Shift, Feed the Machine (expected to be posted 9/10/24). Emalia finds herself face to face with a member of her late flight crew after having been consumed by the protomolecule within the vented hull of the Excalibur. She is depicted in the background reacting out of fright while her late wife, Wyllo, crawls towards her from afar despite missing all her limbs from the elbows and knees down. Wyllo remains pinned to the hull of the Excalibur by way of the scourge, but the core directives of the alien particle keep her moving as she regurgitates a floating blob of the stuff in hopes to infect Emalia.
