Tem-Tem-Tempo Time!

Ok so, I used to make (bad) AMVs back in the day 10+ years ago, and if I still had the old laptop and video editing system I used I probably still would have made some, especially for this prompt. But alas, that’s an era gone by, and even if I had any clue what I was doing at this point (which I don’t), my current laptop is already short on space and I wouldn’t even know the first place to get Zexal footage for AMVs.

So instead, I’m just gonna list a few inklings of ideas I probably would have done.

The songs I’m choosing are Don’t Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult, Snow White Queen by Evanescence, Home by the Sea by Genesis, and Into the Ocean by Blue October. (A bit more detail about each under the cut)

- Don’t Fear the Reaper - by Blue Oyster Cult (Though the version covered by Ninja Sex Party)

Ok so this song is about the inevitable eventuality of death, and how its pointless to be scared of it. So I could see it being twisted into like, Don Thousand trying to coax each Barian into dying for him, going for them one by one until he lures them into death.

Snow White Queen - by Evanescence

So with lines like “You belong to me, my snow white queen...Don't scream anymore, my love, 'Cause all I want is you” for this one, I would have definitely used it as a past life one-sided Gorgonicshipping AMV, with Vector doing what he could to get Merag under his possession.

Home by the Sea - by Genesis

Ok so the premise of this song is like, a thief breaks into a haunted house, and is trapped by the ghosts who reside there who tell them the stories of their lives until he dies. I can see like, an AU of Vector as the thief, maybe trying to rob an old Kingdom of Poseidon castle, and the ghosts of Nasch, Merag, and Durbe haunting him and trapping him there for trying to do so.  

Into the Ocean - by Blue October

With this song, its about a person trying to stay afloat until they drown, and their dying thought is of their loved one. So despite the song being more masculine noun focused (”just a normal boy” “wish I was much more masculine”), I would have probably made it about Merag drowning after sacrificing herself for Abyss, with Nasch and Durbe being in her final thoughts.
