Gorlin-Goltz Jaw Reconstruction This young man presents with scoliosis and multiple jaw cysts. He carries the diagnosis of Gorlin-Goltz syndrome, which is otherwise known as nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome. The multiple jaw cysts were enucleated along with extraction of the involved teeth. Bony defects were reconstructed using rib grafts harvested from the patient. Dental implants were placed after good consolidation of the grafts in six months. Ceramic crowns were placed on the implants after osseointegration with the surrounding alveolar bone.
