They all look so happy together with their yo-kai partners! I feel like these should be head-canonical relationships, as well as these:
He’s the leader of his friends.
He has a crush on Katie (as usual), except that secret’s been spilled out, and now everyone kind of teases him for it.

He’s good friends with Eddie (who discovered his secret of his yo-kai friends (all by himself) first), telling him some of his backstory at a few points.
Oh yeah, and he’s also rivals with Bear, because... he’s the leader, and Bear’s trying to take that role away from him (there are some other reasons, but I don’t know if I can actually say them).
He has Whisper as a partner, because he trusts upon him to look after the rest of the yo-kai partners. Whisper also tries to be more helpful by giving out information, but since Nate remembers some of the yo-kai by heart, he’d beat him to it.
Eddie:
He’s... I dunno, the second-in-command, I guess?
He’s good friends with Bear, Nate, and Katie, but he doesn’t want Bear and Nate to fight, so he and Katie try to stop them at times.
He’s still shook by yo-kai as of now.
I’m not really sure if Eddie could be a love rival or good friends of Nate, since in the games, we see him have a crush on Katie (but whatever).
While he can be scared of yo-kai sometimes, Sandmeh has him covered because he can help him conquer his fear and also because he’s one of the few yo-kai he can actually trust.
Katie:
She’s the only female member.
She actually acts “oblivious” to boys wooing her because she feels like she’s not ready to make love to a boy yet.
She does, however, kind of like Nate as the series progresses.
While she wants to become stronger and more independent, she also wants to hang out with Bear, Eddie, and Nate more than the other girls, though they sometimes drag her out of the scene.
Like Eddie, she tries to stop Bear and Nate from fighting, but to no avail.
Apparently, Nate gave Jibanyan to Katie because Jibanyan says that she reminds him of Amy, his original owner.
Jibanyan still visits Nate from time to time, though, because he still loves him as much as he loves Katie (as... as friends, to be more specific, though I felt like they were both using him as their “son”... hmm...)
Katie now regrets saying that Nate was average before because after discovering his secret about his yo-kai friends, she was amazed by it and decided to help.
Bear:
He’s probably the strongest member of the group.
He sees Eddie as both his “little brother” and his best friend.
He often clashes with Nate because he wants to be the leader.
He usually chooses to be either nice (like in the games) or mischievous (like in the manga).
He often chooses to be nice when helping out his dad on repairing something or on a project.
He sometimes chooses to prank people when he wants to get revenge or (to Nate (mostly Nate)) just to make someone look bad.
Sometimes, he even uses yo-kai as part of his pranks. In some cases, he’d chase Nate, Eddie, or Katie around with Fidgephant, who is forced to inspirit them to make them go to the bathroom.
Though, when either Eddie and Katie are in trouble, he sometimes tries to help get them out, but with Nate, he just leaves him alone, although in the end, he’s forced to get him out of there as well.
Overall, he’s kind of a bad character, but at least there are times when he has his heart in the right place.
When you just want to be funny, so you try to make a joke that sounds a little too literal… (Apparently, this was on my mind because people don’t like Bear as much as many of the other human characters (you should probably tell me your opinion on all four of the major ones))
When everyone has mixed feelings about the Steven Universe franchise ending, but then you decide that the best way to cheer everyone up is by comparing Steven to... Steven 2.5?
(I swear, though, I’m starting to increase my Steven vibes for every time I draw Bear) (and I only watched the first main series)
