Se salvó por los pelos.
had to remake the post due to it being a repost
this time around is billy y los amigos as the arfolini portrait! we learnt about this in ap art history.
one would notice (although it’s pretty cropped out) a plate of spaghetti on the windowsill. spaghetti is billy’s favorite food (as seen in billy la bufanda the song). in the original painting there is a plate of oranges there to symbolize the wealth of the couple. coz fresh fruit was surprisingly luxurious back then!
but in this rendition the plate of spaghetti symbolizes how billy is rich in life because he is surrounded by his favorite things and people!!! isn’t that beautiful. repost now!
