Help me out with a thought experiment. Name a Bible story from the Old Testament where a one biblical character makes a great sacrifice for the good of another. Has to be specifically from the Old Testament, so no, the crucifixion doesn't count.

Death Row.
Imagine you’re a criminal among many other criminals on death row about to be hanged. You get wind of a rumor that the King of the land pardons some criminals according to His mercies. He paid the hefty cost by His own blood to allow for such a pardon. In order for you to be saved all you must do is repent and turn to Him for salvation. Anyone who comes to repentance He promises He will not cast out.
Would that give you hope or turn you to despair?
Jeremy Camp is really hot!!!
