Benji hiking together HCs!!

Ben was the one who pushed Kenji into making it a business. You cannot change my mind. Kenji felt shy because it was a life changing experience for him, but he still saw it as a hobby and didn’t think other people could feel the same about it as he did, but Ben convinced him <333

They started hiking together sometime after Kenji first got into it, which was what helped Ben get super buff. Kenji used to just listen to music while hiking, but then got bored of it and decided to invite Ben. Ben likes yapping while hiking and Kenji can never understand how he never runs out of breath—he finds it relaxing nonetheless and a great way to fill the silence while hiking.

Immediately after hiking they go to their favorite burger diner. It is MANDATORY. Kenji felt so sad when Ben had to stop going hiking with him so he could focus on college.

When they all got together again in the ending of JWCT S4, Kenji actually passed by their favorite burger diner so he could let everyone try it out, of course knowing Ben’s exact order down to the “no pickles”.

In JWCT s4 when they were all stuck in the car inbetween two trees, I like to think they skipped kenji helping out Ben because it was basically like clockwork for them. Didn't even need coaching or anything, Ben and Kenji operated with words barely spoken between them. “On three” and it looked SO easy gehgfhegdhshd

At some point, involuntarily, Kenji brought Ben to the same place he brought Brooklyn when they still dated. He expected the same reaction from Ben, even acting all nonchalant in front of the other. But was completely struck when he saw the awe in Ben's face as he took in the scenery. Ben started nerding out about the dinosaurs soaring in the sky, and it was there Kenji actually felt seen. Someone had the same level of appreciation Kenji had when he first reached the peak.

Extra HCs:

- Yaz and Sammy secretly joke to one another that Ben and kenji’s hiking hang outs were secretly bedroom activities. After Ben and Kenji got together, Brooklyn and Darius are included in the inside joke. Kenji is nonchalant(oblivious) about it but Ben has an inkling. He’s just too shy to bring it up with Kenji.

- the inside joke was later nullified because it actually became true (Kenji owned up to it)

Ik you said you'd mainly be doing bnha reqs but,,, if you ever wanna make some more jwct Benji stuff it would be greatly appreciated 😭
