Celtic cross choker/collar

Another home-made collar using denim, picture-hanging d-rings, and spikes.

I didn't start taking photos until it was partially done, but you should get the idea still. The denim was sewn together using a similar method to my crow's skull choker, then I just measured to get the d-rings equal distance apart and secured them with screw on spikes instead of rivets this time. Then some chain in between the d-rings.

I felt it needed a large chunky centrepiece to compliment the chunkiness of the hardware, and this is the largest pendant I own, I've had it nearly 30 years but in all that time it's been on an adjustable bootlace. I used to have to hold it still with one hand whilst headbanging on nights out, or it would whack me in the forehead.

I really love this style of choker/collar and I can see myself making a lot more of them.
