Not what I normally post on my main account but...

Tada! My patch jacket, thought I'd share it in it's current state. It's still in the "work in progress" stage obviously but I'm happy with it so far.

The base is a black corduroy chore style jacket I got in a clearance bin. Which is wild because it still had the tags and its plus size!

Some of the patches are made by me or by small artists/businesses. I still havent figure out where the pins and other bits are going yet.

Also this jacket is inspire by but NOT intended to represent a punk/battle jacket. I've just always had patch jackets since my baby bat days so I'm just following a long held tradition of mine.

i made myself a new patch! i’m super proud of it. it’s based on the batcave london’s sign. this was the first club ever catered for goths, it opened in 1982 and closed in 1985. many people consider it the birthplace for the entire goth subculture. the batcave put out a compilation album in 1983 that’s FUCKIN INCREDIBLE, it’s called Batcave: Young Limbs and Numb Hymns, and if you’re getting into goth music i definitely recommend it
