Editing pause is go. I'm still not quite done even though the deadline was technically yesterday (it's still wee hours of today but still). I have missed the deadline.
Anne please don't fire me. I went comatose due to accrued fatigue and pain meds. ;; Also I've got maybe half a chapter, a few loose sections, and one quick second pass (regarding my Blessings confusion) left to do.
I'll return to it either in a couple of hours or tomorrow (later today). I might have to try to sleep to correct the mess I've just made of my sleep schedule.

If you feel like she blew something important off as irrelevant, then I'd definitely find someone else. Besides, sometimes people have internal issues that affect how they approach this kind of thing, so a second opinion is always great to have.

Second opinion. It didn't occur to her that your social anxiety could be an effect of something like Asperger's, not a separate issue? Sheesh.

Yes. I would most definitely get a second opinion. My brother has Aspergers and for years doctors have been telling my mum that it was just anxiety, he has a lot of the same variants that you have described so yeah, I'd get a second opinion.
Y'all are super nice and I thoroughly appreciate the responses. T_T <3 I've spoken to a family member and gotten some good suggestions for figuring out how to speak to someone else.
