Ralhy had been told to stay behind and watch the party from 'headquarters', as she called it. She didn't understand why she didn't get to go if Jerome was going to be there, she normally got to be everywhere he was. However, the night was spent with her watching with absolute glee and excitement when Jerome had started running the show....until the end of the show.
To Ralhy, it felt like she had gotten shot straight in the heart as she watched in disbelief, horror, and an utter and complete sadness that she never known before. She had never felt any kind of sadness before, but watching Jerome take his final breaths and she couldn't be there to stop it before it happened or avenge him afterwards right there in front of the cameras was something she didn't like.
She had been left on her own once the entire thing was over, as a whirl of emotions made their way around her mind and body. For the first time in a very long time, if ever, she had tears streaking down her face like a waterfall as she watched Jerome's body, she looked at the smile he had died with, and the rasped words kept running through her mind. She closed her eyes, and still the images and the sounds refused to leave her alone. When she slowly was able to open her eyes after a very long time, she felt a depression like no other overcome her. Then a vengeful, spiteful, terrible form of rage overcame her when she heard a door open and she heard the tone of Theo Galavan entering the room. She was doing her best to keep herself seated for as long as she could. In her pocket, her hand was gripping on the handle of her knife, her knuckles white.
There wasn't any way that Ralhy was going to let this pass without a fight. She was trying to mentally prepare herself to possibly go into a battle that she had never been in against anyone else before.
