Covid-19 kits have also arrived at my local Walgreens and it didn't take long for the display rack to get filled with "stuff you don't have enough money for before you get to the counter".

Made in the USA except we received the ones made in The Republic of Korea.

I'm probably in the wrong state of mind doing this, but here it goes...

I never thought I would be a person that has so much pain. When I am around people, I have no problems, I am having fun, I am who I wish I could be everyday... When I am alone everything changes. I am unmotivated, scared, numb, and when I do feel it’s usually pain. I try not to be there person who complains or be down. I usually don't open up to people. I have a bad reaction and I guess I shut down. Worrying about my feelings has never been the concern for my upbringing. Not that they didn't care. No one had time. Life happened, responsibilities, work. I try and convince myself to write every time there is a problem. I would like to think that once the words hit the page that I don't feel the same pain again. Like an emotional punching bag. Until I feel backed into a corner or I feel I am losing something I overload with emotions and I just break. I remember every pain with whoever it was that caused it, neglect; people coming and going, every lie, every tear, ever bad moment... and I can't explain it, it just happens so fast, like life stops for a moment and I have a fucking projector screen clip showing my worst fears. I'm not an easy person to understand, I’m quite strange. But I sedate myself enough to act in front of YOU people. I have never ever felt understood. People always thought I was weird... the friends I did have I had to play a role to get along with. Or stay the quiet genius. I was never the person people thought I was. I think it hilarious when they hear my music I write or poems. They think I’m fucking mental or something. When honestly the only thing I haven’t been able to figure out is human beings. We are the most fucked up extra-terrestrial beings ever. Ran by paper and shiny stones. Have we really evolutionized from the cavemen at this point. And I am sorry but what America has become is an insult to the whole idea of what America used to be. All countries are fucked up. When did money and wealth become more important than happiness? As we die none of it will matter. You will die without your money that you worked so hard for will get left to your children to buy new technologies and exist instead of live. WE DIE IF NOT IN THE GRAVE, THEN WE DIE IN MATERIAL OBJECTS THAT DON’T FUCKING MATTER.

The only things that matter are people, memories, and the time that was given.

Instead we are rats that eat the government cheese.
