For those keeping score at home...
I know DC likes to often get into 'oh bruce wayne is the mask and batman is really him' or 'oh what is the mask' etc etc
anyway. in this comic (batman #165) bruce refers to the true him as bruce, nto batman.
this isn't saying 'oh you have to have this interpretation', I think the debate is kind of pointless. I'm just pointing out that we saw it presented another way in a previous comic, that we don't usually see later.
