Launched on Jan. 31, 2018, the flight of the GovSat-1 got its start atop a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 40 in Florida. SpaceX запустила ракету-носитель Falcon 9 со спутником GovSat-1. Запущенный спутник будет использоваться для обеспечения военных операций защищенной связью.
Компания SpaceX в среду, 31 января провела успешный запуск ракеты-носителя Falcon 9 со спутником GovSat-1 на борту. Об этом сообщает Informtime со ссылкой на Korrespondent.
Пуск состоялся с космодрома на мысе Канаверал. Спутник GovSat-1 был доставлен на свою целевую орбиту примерно через 32 минуты после запуска.

Использованная при запуске спутника GovSat-1 первая ступень ракеты в мае прошлого года была задействована для вывода на орбиту спутника NROL-76.
Спутник GovSat-1, принадлежащий компании LuxGovSat, совместному предприятию между правительством Люксембурга и спутниковым оператором SES, будет использоваться для обеспечения военных операций защищенной связью.
