If the whole Greek Trilogy remake rumors are true. This is what I'd like to see
I don't think anything should be changed, aside from Valhalla level graphics.
However something I wouldn't mind seeing is replacing the Dominus armor with the Spartan Legionnaire armor from Ghost of Sparta
I do think there are improvements that could be made to combat. But not just retooling the Norse games' combat. Make it as close to the old games as possible, improve the power system and mercifully update the boss battles, especially the Hydra and Ares button mashing.
I would like to rather get gameplay in the flashbacks as opposed to just cutscenes, that way we can play as Spartan Kratos doing the will of Ares and having a boss fight against the Barbarian King. The only thing that should be cutscenes imo would be a basic TLDR; version of the spin off games to fill in the gaps of certain things.
Bonus points. We meet Atreus of Sparta in these flashbacks.
But honestly, if we do get the spin off games remade as well, please just scrap Ascension. I felt that Ares always planning on using Kratos against Zeus undermined the character Ares had in the first game. Kratos, begging for mercy and Ares molding him into his champion kind of felt undercut with the Ascension revelation
For GOW1, when we do get to the God doors and powers, get the faces of GOW3 Gods.
GOW2. The only change I would like to see regarding the best game in the franchise is keeping in the cut Sparta mission.
GOW 3. Linda Hunt and Carole Ruggier return to voice Athena and Gaia, as their exclusion from GOW 3 still puzzles me.
One change I'd like to see is an additional boss fight that has Kratos fighting Artemis and Apollo.
Why not? We have an Apollo bonus costume and concept art of Artemis, why not utilize them?
I would just have Kratos leave them for dead as they haven't wronged him and he thought them not worth killing.
Most importantly. The God armor returns as a bonus costume in GOW 3. Cause boy were those bonus costumes dreadful.
So yeah, if the rumors are true these changes are most likely never going to happen, but something I'd love to see.
Most importantly. Terrence C. Carson returns to voice Kratos.
