Headcanon: the Mechanisms land on Earth wayy into the future one time soon after acquiring Tim, and Tim is by then known on Earth as The Guy Who Blew Up The Moon That One Time™, and Jonny starts laughing his ass off when a historical exhibit about the Moon War says that Tim and Bertie were just roommates who spent all their days together, and so Jonny insists on calling Bertie "Tim's best friend" at every gptvtmk gig because he still thinks it's hilarious

I've been on a bit of a gptvtmk kick recently... what a song. I love the moon war. As always, click for quality!

A brief explanation of all the details: Tim and Jonny are wearing the same uniform-- it looks like that for a few reasons, namely: it's a crazy space war like hell am i giving them modern-looking uniforms, and it's too dark for camo to be super useful. Dark grey because the moon is grey, with dark blue accents because they're the the starborne division and colors for Space are either blue, black, or purple, and of those blue was best. Also, space is often treated like sea so perhaps they're an extension of the navy. Jonny's head isn't attached to his body, because he technically does end the song as just a head. However, I didn't want to draw just his head, so I gave him his body back! In a similar vein, Tim was in the lifepod, but I didn't want to draw that. The Toy soldier's uniform is loosely based on my vague idea of stupidly fancy military clothes. The feather in the hat is because it's described as having "a royal guardsman's plume"! Also I gave it tea because a) i thought it would be funny and b) if anyone could summon tea at will it would be TS. Originally it was just the cup but my sister suggested I add the little floating tea!
