Regarding Pearl getting “stolen” is it possible maybe it was just a coincidence? It’s a pretty basic greek inspired outfit, with blue hair and blue skin, it’s possible they just share the similarities
well my art of pearl is one of the first google results when you search “water genasi” and over all my genasi art has been pretty influential on a lot of people over the years.
could it be a coincidence? sure. but i highly doubt it.
and i’m not like... asking for any sort of consequences here. i just feel it’s kinda... rude. or like, thoughtless? i understand seeing art on the internet and not thinking about who made it and going “i want that to be my character” -- i did that when i was 13. but that doesn’t mean i can’t have my own feelings about it.
