Tuffnut stared at these four new-comers with vague interest, eyeing up the females for a moment longer than he did the two others. Okay, one other. Hiccup he knew.

Hiccup sat by his dragon, on a bench in the plaza. It wasn't hot that day, but there was a welcomed lack of freezing breeze which seemed to constantly plague the village and he and Toothless enjoyed the stillness of the slightly chilly air. Overhead, dragons flew with riders and around him, everyday duties were carried out with the help of the large beasts. He felt pretty proud of himself, if he was honest. There were still some bugs to Vikings and dragons living alongside but that was natural.
The sound of heavy breathing and running footsteps interrupted his admiration of his handy-work and Hiccup turned to see a girl running into the town centre.
"Hey," he called, getting to his feet, "What's wrong?"
