I love this woman. This is Christine Haymond. She has helped me to connect to my life's purpose of leading yoga for people who didn't realize yoga was for them!! This yoga is not mine, this yoga is all of ours. Christine is co-founder of the GRACE project (Growing Resiliency to All Communities Everywhere). She retired as one of the ED teachers from Plain Local. Instead of retiring and being done teaching, leading, helping and healing, she kept going and roped me into helping her and I will never be the same...Really I am better because of her...a whole lot busier, and a whole lot more fulfilled. #rabbitrabbit and welcome everybody to MY BIRTHDAY MONTH! I'm back home in Cincy now for a few minutes but this month's about to get lit - besides the obvi 52 birthday candles! Tomo I get to see my fave band #overtherhine... The hubcap and I are going to see the U2 Joshua Tree tour #bucketlist #kaching in Indy on the 10th (our bday present to each other)... I'm on an author panel, doing an open mic night, and a reading at the pop-up bookstore at the #milfordreadersandwritersfestival the 15-17th... Charise and I will be in #denver the 22nd-26th for a #graceproject exhibit at the @komencolorado #raceforthecure and photo shoots while we are there... and the 27th is the big day I get to turn 52 and start another road-trip around the sun! #cowabunga! But first, Wednesday is my quarterly #oncologist check-up. 9 years out since diagnosis and it still gets me kinda worked up every damn time. So lovely getting to meet Grace goddess Leslie's sister Lindsey at last night's #graceproject #colorado #exhibition opening at @outnumberedgallery in #littleton.
