But seriously I lucked out so fucking hard on this dress.

Like cut-off for ordering a grad dress is December because they take 5-6 months to be made and grad is in June, plus alterations can take awhile. I thought that I had royally fucked myself out of finding what I wanted. 

I walked out of that store with a dress that just came in the night before, was the perfect size and colour, and didn’t need to be altered or ordered in.

Plus she gave me free jewellery for it. The price makes me sad, but that’s ok. I am one lucky mother fucker.

Also I still need help with Grad photo prop ideas. Help

(A thing I scrawled down last night after I watched an old man scoop fruit onto his plate.)

I am horrified of the amount of care I see in this old man and his reach. I try not to stare as he eases his hand away from his body, grabs, retracts. I nearly ask him if he needs my help but I'm afraid to offend; his wife seems all too used to his shaking hands and measured movements.

Finally leaving Iowa.

There's this tradition in this part of Iowa where they make "mints" for special occasions, i.e. graduation, weddings, etc. But the thing is, they aren't really mints; they're basically just sugar and cream cheese and food coloring mixed and molded into different shapes. The problem here is: I can't stop eating them. Send help.
