WIP Wednesday - Fun With Gradients
I’m making a gift for a friend using (for the first time) a proper gradient cake. Things I have learned so far:
1250m is possibly too much for a shawl. Next time I’m getting 1000m. Though we’ll see what the final size is.
3 ply I think would have been enough, though 4 ply is also ok.
There are gradient cakes and there are gradient cakes. Fiber composition (for me) makes the difference between an enjoyable project and ‘how much more of it is there?!’
Please, can I have all yarn coming in cakes, because the wonders of a center-pull are life changing.
