Decided to wet block this shawl to make it easier to stretch out the lacey pattern to its fullest potential. Since this is cotton I’m hoping it will dry relatively quickly in the warm weather.

Working on a summer cotton shawl

My birthday summer shawl is all finished!!! It’s surprisingly lightweight! I completed this using baby weight yarn and my new Addi Click Lace Tips circular interchangeable set of knitting needles! Not bad for a gal who only learned to knit 5 months ago! Happy Birthday to me!
