It's another rough around the edges doodle. Been watching Kiki and Ghibli movies a lot today, so I just doodled away on a kiki in order to try out working with gradient maps a little more. Though fun and I see how usefull it us, it also, feels, well.. I don't know. I miss the feeling of a more painterly approach, even when it's digital, so we'll see how much more I do it. But for now. Here you go a smug kiki :b

"Shroomland" this drawing might be quite rough around the edges both figuratively and literally, but then again it was never meant to be a finished drawing. The main focus of this drawing has been to explore working with gradient maps rather than a more painterly approach in Photoshop, and with that said, I had a blast doing it. I will probably use this technique more in the future on more polished projects when necessary, though I also have to admit I did miss the more painterly approach, so as of now I don't think it'll be my main way of working.

Anyhoooo, though it might be rough, I hope you enjoy it and that you're staying safe and staying creative <3
