I am my own worst critic especially when it comes to writing. I always think I'm shit and people only like anything out of pity. It's a failing I've had for years and I doubt I will rid of it.
I decided to go through my Valdaya fics and grade them. Based on creativity, plot, etc. Not spelling or grammar. On some series I graded each chapter on it's own. Others I did all together.
I only kept a list of the A graded ones. Which means come next week (or whenever) if I did this again there would be a major shake up. Just followed my gut.
A: OMG this is great! You should be really proud! 22 B: You did damn good 39 C: It was good, but perhaps missed the mark, overdone plot maybe 27 D: You tried, next time please try harder 22 F: WTF?! You call yourself a writer? Go play in traffic 7
Only felt I really failed 7 times .... maybe I'm not that horrid
