It's warming up so I've been looking at fake tanners again to fake a summer glow when it's bikini time without skin damage (fun fact: tanning occurs as a response to DNA damage, so there's no such thing as a safe tan! Hey guys!

Since we were kindly gifted with like a mountain of stuff from the Déise Blogger event I decided to start a new section on my blog of First Impressions. Since I can’t review everything at once this will just show ye what I’m currently using, what I first think and if I think I’ll continue.

First up is the Glove Your Body trio pack which consists of the Glove Your Body Dual Tanning Mitt, Scrub Your Body Exfoliation Mitt and The Scrub Your Body Dual Cleansing Pad and also some Karora products, the Instant Tan Glow Glamster, the Express Bronzing Mousse and the Gradual Tan Golden Girl.

I decided to put these all in a post together because (aside from the obvious fact that tanning mitts and tanning products go together.) I actually hardly ever wear tan. I think I’ve worn it 3 times in the last 2 years? I never really saw the point because I have naturally sallow skin but to be honest, seeing other people use tans makes me want to (I know, I’m commercialism’s wet dream.) Since my birthday is coming up in a few weeks (The Big 2-1) I’ll definitely be trying out different tans and the Karora ones are first on my list alongside the Glove your body mitts (You can pick up the Glove your body trio here for 24.99)

I’ve used other cheap mitts before and while they get the job done they’re not without their faults e.g. only being able to use it once before your fingers start to stain and nowhere to be able to store it safely which is why I’m super excited about the Glove Your Body one. Not only is the mitt itself gorgeous (leopard print, who knew?,) it also has finger holes on the inside so it mitt doesn’t slip and slide around as well as being machine washable and coming in a resealable travel bag. I’ve also heard nothing but good things about the Karora tans so I’m really excited to try them out too.
