“CITIZENS AND NETIZENS!” 

Behold the documented room from Franco Cortez`s work “FEARTV - hosted by Franky D`miedo”. Thank you all for stopping by our master graduation show “agreements between seasons”in june. The MFA in Medium- and Material-based art is now completed and up next will be transmitting a live intervention for the Nationalmuseum and travelling to Amsterdam in september and participating in the NEU NOW art festival. Franky D`miedo will show; “Art Club Ultra (vol II) - works in progress” and did I mention that he will be opening the art festival!

Sweeties, I did graduate in photography. Tomorrow I will receive my diploma and the graduation exposition @zealexpo will open. Come to see the works of my fellow students and me at @peron_e_utrecht. I am so happy!

Immersed in Creativity: A Glimpse into the Graduation Show Exhibit'23 @UCACanterbury

Each installation seemed to tell a unique story, a testament to the diverse talents and perspectives that the cohort had nurtured over the course of their programs. As I walked through the exhibit, I was struck by the sheer range of design approaches and concepts that were on display.

The exhibit was not merely a showcase of technical skills; it was a celebration of the ideas that had been incubated within these walls. Each piece spoke volumes about the individual behind it – their passions, inspirations, and aspirations.

It was a humbling experience to witness the transformation of ideas into tangible forms that could evoke emotions and spark conversations.

Throwback Thursday to my college graduation show in 2003! After 3 years of taking the “Illustration and Design” program at Montreal’s Dawson College we had a group exhibition to show our best projects. I was a bit of a rebel back then, so half of what I exposed where the broken skateboards that I would paint on the weekends.
