Aquatint Akitas 2020
Aquatint etching on the copper plates. 5 different akita dogs.
Plate size 20 cm x 14 cm.
Akitas name’s: Acri 1/3, Lola 3/4, Frank 2/3, Polka 4/4 and Rigel 1/3.
(1/3 and 3/4 meand that how many prints I have made and which one is the first and third print.)
I wanted to make a printmaking series with akita dogs. I made lot of sketches of the akitas with suits on them. Then I chose the best ones and made aquatint etchings. (Not real akitas or names, I just come up with these names.)
One picture from the sketch to ready print took me about 5 hours to make. Aquatint technique is really complicated process but the final result is really enjoyable. (I made black, dark green and violet prints.)

Art school experiments. Testing more abstract style that I do not normally do at all.

Lithography on stones in the making. Here I am practicing drawing on the limestones with black chalk and ink.
This technique in the graphic arts is very challenging because of it's work stages and time usage. 🎨⏳
