Luke Skywalker was on one of his daily mornings runs, where he and I live on the planet, Ossus.
During the New Republic Era, we had moved there so Luke, as the Grandmaster Jedi, could begin to construct the Jedi Temple. Trained as his Padawan some years ago, I had become a Jedi Master as well and helped him in building our new home: the temple for the students we taught and a home for our own family.
As Luke wrapped up his run where he was surrounded by the lush and green environment, he approached the edge of the dense jungle. Before him was an open grassland, where the Temple and his home were built. As his gaze lingered on it for a brief moment, the Force sent through his being a sense of calm and peace. The feeling was grounding, one in which he had grown to appreciate over the years on the planet.
Bringing himself back to the present, the young man made his way to the front door, the mere thought of seeing his wife and family causing a delicate smile to appear on his face. Once he entered the house, he was overwhelmed (in a good way of course) by a bunch of Force Signatures, a various mix of blue and green shades.
While Luke's Force Signature was an emerald green like his lightsaber, mine was a sapphire blue, similar to my own saber.

Luke knew everyone was hiding from him in his bedroom, except for his wife, who had stood up from her seat on a nearby chair and walked over to meet him. Arms wrapping around his broad shoulders and head buried in the crook of his neck, he placed his hands on her back and hugged her body close to his. Closing his eyes, he dipped his head down and nudged her nose, giving her a soft, slow kiss on her lips. To his quiet delight once they shared a quick moment, she had kissed her index finger and planted it on the dimple of his chin. The affectionate gesture had caused a gentle purr to rise in his chest for a few seconds.
Releasing his hold on the love of his life, Luke had spared a quick glance over at the bed, where the rest of the family were obviously hiding under one of the blankets. Amusement laced in his ocean blue eyes, he looked back and gazed at his wife, a small knowing grin of her own mirroring his. Keeping his voice low while also making sure he was speaking loud enough for them to hear him, he spoke his curious thoughts aloud. "Say my love, since when did we have a bunch of rocks in our bed?"
Shrugging her shoulders and playing along, she pretended she had no idea why there was. Her only response was a playful one as she replied to his mock wonder. "Oh I don't know, Luke. They appeared there while you were gone for an hour or so. Maybe we'll have to dig up the rocks and find out for ourselves."
Almost as soon as they had suggested it, the sound of muffled giggles were heard coming from under the blanket. The smirking couple exchanged a nod and followed the noise over to the side of the bed. Even though it was hard not to join in, they held back for the sake of the innocent game of hide and seek.

Each of us placing a single hand on the blanket, Luke using his gloved one, he paused in his movements and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "So you're saying if we dig up the rocks like this!-" Pulling the blanket back in sync, he exclaimed in surprise at the sight of our beloved twelve children, finishing his sentence. "We'll find them right here in front of us!"
The sound of laughter now beginning to fill our ears, Luke and I were pulled onto the bed (well, we had allowed it) by the wild bunch with wide smiles on our faces. Pure chaos had ensued, but in the best way possible. We were being climbed over and hugged, but the combined weight of our children on top of us was the least of our worries. In that moment, the only thing we cared about was sharing in each other's happiness. The Force had gifted our family to us through the lives we were able to create together as a couple, and we were going to take advantage of that.
I was glad to call Luke Skywalker my husband and the father of our twelve children. You heard me right, that's how many young and middle aged kids we ended up having: six boys and six girls. I guess he couldn't keep his hands off of me or his lightsaber in his pants, but I also have no room to talk. His black and ebony Jedi robes always did something to make me want to immediately take them off of his handsome, perfect body. They still do, so it's a good thing he wears them often because the turn on is definitely worth it.
