Utilizing a mixture of electronic and acoustic elements, ‘Gramofaune’ encapsulates the dynamic sound of French-Canadian artist Gabriel Gagné. Creating a layered patchwork of samples, synths and atmospheres, Gabriel builds and mixes sonic environments from scratch. Admittedly this style of production is not always a simple process, as Gagne admits: “It’s a messy process, as I’m always adding things to the mix.” But perhaps it is through this slightly frenetic ‘collage’ style of sound design that this project truly takes on a life of its own.  ‘Trails’ is a special teaser track from his upcoming album, where strumming guitars dance alongside arpeggiated synths in a sound reminiscent of Four tet and Floating points.  Follow Soundcloud Spotify Bandcamp
