Jesus Vallejo's loan to Granada CF has ended, and he is returning to Real Madrid after a difficult season.
This season, Vallejo played a total of 106 minutes. He completed the full match in the La Liga opener against Atletico Madrid before missing 7 matches due to a lower leg fracture. He then played 6 minutes against FC Barcelona, got injured again, and missed 9 more matches. Vallejo later played 10 minutes against Cadiz CF, sat on the bench against Real Betis, and was sidelined for the rest of the season due to depression.
Vallejo's contract with Real Madrid expires in a year, and the club will look to loan him out again or sell him.
