Tequila Sunrise & A walk to remember
My Little sister is on a gloomy mood, so instead of her custom of going to a party like every friday, she decided to stay at home with me.
Maybe it wasn't completely with me, but I had to take this chance. When she asked for a good romantic movie, I tried to persuade her into seeing "Wuthering Heights", personally I adore the book, but she isn't ready for that one yet. We looked at a long long list of movies but she couldn't choose one. She wanted something good that would make a wave with her emotions, she wanted to cry.. but because she has kind of a teenager's mind, I tempted her into seeing "A Walk To Remember"
She had never seen that one and I wanted to know her impressions, instead of watching "the Lake House" for a 30th time...
We needed snacks of course and she made as easy salad with tuna and chicken. My role was to make the drinks and I tried (just tried) to prepare a pair of "Tequila Sunrise"
As I learned later.. the granadine is the last thing to add..so I kinda failed this time.
Those two had not a bad flavor, but I guess (and my sister said) they were so sweet...
The movie... well I'd rather spend a night reading and crying over the book, going back in time to see Landon's town and passing trough Jamie's porch. But my sister enjoyed the movie and that was the point.
I hope she'll find a love that can make her happy, that she'll reach her own felicity and all her wishes shall came true. From the bottom of my heart, I'll always be by her side.
Now we are on a romance mood, which wont help me because I'm really confused as to accept one guy that's not serious at all, and even worse that he's pretending to be serious, and waking from a delusion of mine with a Spanish guy that lives in Japan and that I know almost nothing about...
I really want to keep believing in the one of my dreams, lately he seems so distant.. so out of my reach.... where is he right now?? I wonder that every second...
Either way, I'll keep the coctel practice.
