On September 8, 1994, David Bowie spent a day in Gugging, a psychiatric institution where patients with mental disorder were first encouraged to participate in art therapy, and which later became one of the most important art colony's and centers for Art Brut. This visit to Gugging has given Bowie a decisive impuls for his album „Outside“, on which all songs deal with art and human existence beyond our norm. The photographer Christine de Grancy accompanied David Bowie on this visit and captured the quiet, private, intimate moments of his encounter with the Gugging artists on camera. In the exhibition „Bowie in Gugging“ de Grancy's pictures will be shown and released for the very first time. x

OK I know I’m late to the party. But I just saw a Q you got that mentioned Grigor being on Light of Our Love opposite Mattie. And I just imagined a fanfic where Nancy turns on the tv to maybe see how rick and Mattie are doing and then seeing Grigor there doing soap opera and being like... WAT. lol (of course it would be a grancy fanfic in the end)

off the top of my head here’s how this would go:

grigor is playing a strappy young lothario intent on stealing serena away from rory

nancy learns about this from bess, who is an avid fan ofc

when mattie invites nancy and a friend to come visit the set for old time’s sake, bess INSISTS they go despite nancy’s reluctance

she’s not sure how she feels about grigor in this role OR how she feels about seeing him again especially when there was SUCH OBVIOUS CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THEM AND HE WAS SO IN LOVE WITH HER BY THE END OF LIE

they go stay at mattie’s place and bess acts exactly how you’d imagine she would

deer in headlights fangirl 

but it gets... a little better over their stay. not much, though

she also helpfully points out to nancy how dreamy grigor is and how insanely INTO HER he seems to be 

behind the cameras he’s ofc all over serena and probably every other woman but when he’s not acting his focus is wholly on nancy

but even watching him just ACT sexy with other women has nancy feeling wayyyyyyy too jealous for her comfort level

I don’t know where this would go from there (mattie is into grigor?? grigor has a girlfriend?? an ex that wants him back now??) but YOU GET THE IDEA

plus one could incorporate how he GREW UP ON THOSE STREETS and he could take nancy on a tour of where he used to sleep and try to steal coats and blankets and which food places used to be kind and help feed a poor orphan child
