Hello! I started reading One Piece this year and I saw your post about the possible new strawhats! In my opinion, the ones most likely to be members are: Bonney, Kuma and Yamato. Maybe Vivi. As for Law... well, can't say I wouldn't like it but he already has a crew, so the Grand Fleet?

Hi! Are you asking whether I think Law is more suitable for the Grand Fleet because he has his own crew? This way he can be associated with the Strawhats forever and keep his own crew at the same time. Sure, it's a perfect logistic solution. But do I think Oda will do it? No. For a couple of reasons.

First of all, Law is too important of a character to be part of the Grand Fleet (that was the whole point of Bartolomeo treating Law badly - he was jealous that Law is so close with the Strawhats). That being said, Heart Pirates by themselves can still be part of the Grand Fleet, or not. Oda for some reason really avoids focus on Law's or Kid's crews, which makes me believe he doesn't find them all that important for the story, not counting the Penguin, Shachi and Bepo friendship and Kid and Killer partnership. I don't include Law's pride as possible reason not to join the Grand Fleet though, I don't think that's the major reason he wouldn't do it, even though he would probably feel he lost some respect in eyes of his own crew (he would be mistaken though lol).

Secondly, it's too convenient "wrapping of loose ends" and none of the Strawhats were ever "convenient" additions. Look at Robin, she brought so much troubles with her to the crew. Franky was an antagonist at first and hated by Luffy through the whole arc until he build them a ship for free, which is right at the very end. And let's not forget Jimbei. He also had his own crew and yet he's not just part of the Grand Fleet! He joined the Strawhats, even though more than half the fandom was so certain it will never happen. It took so many arcs for us to finally witness it. But it felt good when he joined. If we go by fandom's beliefs Jimbei would have not been part of the crew, instead Bon Clay, Rebecca, Carrot, Buggy and Shanks would be Strawhats by now.

I'm basing my belief of who will be the last three Strawhats on 13 Strawhats theory (which required solving the 13 cats as Strawhats picture riddle that Oda drew). I do think I solved it correctly, which means I have an answer of sorts and tbh I like it more and more. I have no idea how Oda will pull off Law joining the crew story-wise, but I'm sure it will be really cool. But even if I'm wrong, I don't care, it's actually very fun to just imagine the possibility for me.

And that's what it comes down to. All that matters is that it's fun to speculate. But some people take it a bit too far and I can't stand reddit posts or youtube vids claiming "X is gonna be the next Strawhat, I gathered all the proof!!!" and then the "proof" turns out to be either story convenience to wrap up loose ends in the fastest way possible, arc story summary (yes, we know, Bonney was important character in Egghead arc, that isn't a proof she's gonna be a Strawhat. Rebecca was also an important character in Dressrosa arc and she did not end up becoming a pirate) or some random facts thrown together (some of them are good arguments, most of them are really just there to fill up space). Nothing personal, I just dislike this style of pushing an argument when there's little substance to actually back it up. Also, do we really want the post-Egghead Law situation to resolve without any sort of fanfare? Just with a declaration of "I'm a loser, please let me join your Grand Fleet, Luffy-sama". Who wants to witness Law actually saying that?? (even if he doesn't say that this way, it would still kinda suck, wouldn't it?)

As for Kuma and Bonney, my opinion didn't change. In fact, everything that is happening in Elbaf arc so far makes me only more convinced they're not gonna join. Bonney's dream is to go on adventuring with her dad. She's also 12 years old or so atm. There's a reason why Tama, who is also a child, couldn't yet hop in with Luffy's crew (the very same reason Ace told her to wait and train). Like yeah, Bonney is much stronger than Tama ofc, but it still doesn't change the fact she's a child. Shanks also refused to recruit any children, Luffy knows that a bit too well and seems in the end he agrees with it. As for Kuma, we don't even know what will be the end of his story, everything kinda hangs on Lilith/Vegapunk there. Many people hope Kuma stays the most tragic story of One Piece, but I actually wish for him to get a better ending. Also a happier ending doesn't really erase all the misfortune that came before it, it only adds new meaning to it imo. I think he was enough of a martyr his whole life already. I also think he kinda became like a dad figure to the Strawhats (watching over Luffy instead of Dragon, saving them in the worst situation possible, protecting Sunny) and in exchange Strawhats will become like a parent figure to Bonney. Who knows, maybe she will be the next generation of Strawhats? She already has so much in common with Luffy after all (when they eat together they totally look like siblings) and she would make an amazing Pirate Queen right after Luffy. And I kinda adore imagining Bonney, Tama and Collin/Colon/Collun (why are there so many name variations for him??) being the next Strawhats gen ❤

As for Yamato and Vivi I completely agree. Story has set them up to join in later and Vivi is now closer to that than ever, it seems. Yamato is also moving forward slowly in the cover pages story, just like Jimbei was before her :)

High Seas Fleet Interned in Britain

The High Seas Fleet on its way to the Firth of Forth on the morning of November 21.

November 21 1918, Inchkeith--The terms of the armistice demanded that the Germans give up the bulk of the High Seas Fleet.  The Americans, not wanting the fleet to end up in British or French hands, proposed that they be interned in neutral ports, but no neutral country wanted custody of a fleet that was well-known to be filled with mutinous and revolutionary sailors.  As a result, the Allies eventually agreed that the ships would be interned at Scapa Flow; they would be watched carefully by the British, but would still be manned by German skeleton crews.

On November 21, 70 German ships arrived off the Firth of Forth and were escorted in, under the eye of 370 Allied vessels, Admiral Beatty, and Admiral Sims.  Hipper declined to lead his fleet into exile, and left it to a subordinate, Admiral Reuter.  The Allies did not have their guns trained on the Germans, but were ready for action in case the Germans tried something suicidal.  Ultimately, this was unnecessary; the German ships had removed all ammunition before they sailed.  The final German count was a few ships short of what was promised in the armistice: two were left behind with engine troubles, one had struck a mine on the way over, and one was still under construction.

When the sun set at 3:37 PM, the German flag was hauled down on all the interned ships; it would only be raised once more.  Over the next week, the ships were transferred in groups to Scapa Flow, where they would wait while the peace negotiations proceeded.  Three-quarters of the sailors were sent home to Germany early in December, leaving crews large enough for basic maintenance and to navigate at reduced speed.
