"Thanks." He was glad, to have somewhere he could always come when he needed a break. He couldn't go to Sam or Tucker's because Tucker's place was all decorated for Christmas, too, and Sam was busy today. But Clockwork always seemed to have his back, even if in cryptic ways sometimes.

"New happy memories are coming slowly. Maybe in, like, a few years. And reading? You did not just suggest that."

He paused at the mention of Timeless. "Oh, how is all that going, anyway?"

He’s just going to glare at Clockwork. “I don’t remember anybody asking you to to get involved in this.”

Apparently after setting up the lanterns to his own clock tower, Timeless accidentally triggered his powers from excitement and traveled to another timeline and ended up at another Clockwork's tower. Of course, he didn't realize this even when he entered and saw the other Clockwork. "Clockwork? You're back?" A pause. "DOES THAT MEAN I DIED?" (grandfather-time)

Clockwork turned as he felt a shift in the space in his tower. He watched as Timeless appeared seemingly out of thin air. This, of course, was nothing new for Clockwork.

“Just calm down. I don’t know what you’re talking about. Would you care to explain why you’re in my tower?”

Feet gently moved across the ground; hand forming a green glow. The ghost didn’t seem like a low level but he’d still try to take them out. Besides, if he didn’t try, the living would be harmed. He couldn’t- no, wouldn’t allow that to happen. The living was innocent and were, well, alive. Ghosts had no right to attack nor did they have the right to take their life away.

He moved lower as he slowed; judging the ghost who seemed to be distracted by... something. This ghost didn’t seem hostile but - with what the GiW drilled into his mind - he knew that would change at some point if he allowed it to leave.

Hand raised, ready to attack. 34615 prepared himself to dash to the side after the shot in case one hit wasn’t enough to stop the ghost.

The fairy enters the ghost’s lair. She walks up to the clock man and stares for a moment before giving him a hug.

Perhaps Maddie should have allowed herself to have a second to examine the ghost’s appearance before aiming her weapon upon seeing him. But the fact that his back was facing her when she spotted him screamed for her to shoot first. Besides, he was close to her family; she refused to allow any ghost to go near them.

Scowl still upon her face, she aimed her weapon again. This time, observing the ghost’s appearance from the front. Her mind soon split into two when she acknowledged the theme of this ghost; to try and attack again or to try and convince the other to leave. After all, he seemed to wear nothing but watches. His body even had one in him.

This fight was not going to be a easy one for her.
