Just finished a show at the Mission Ballroom with Dillon Francis. Pretty good gig.
My aunt asked me today about when I’ll be performing at uni this semester and I told her that the shows haven’t been cast yet but I’m the lighting designer for the fall musical, Cabaret. She said “no no, I want to see you dance!” It really irks me how little people value design work! At best I’ll be cast in some ensemble role in a minor dance piece, but the design is all mine and SO MUCH work!
We just finished up 2 weeks doing 2 different festivals at the same park in Louisville Kentucky. Bourbon and Beyond was first followed by Louder Than Life. The people of Kentucky really showed up too. Largest audiences in years. The weather was perfect both weeks as well. Could not ask for a more perfect setup.
Telluride was an amazing spot to do a show with Beck. I wish I could live there!
