Robin hadn’t really gotten the chance to speak to their daughter yet. Either child yet, they supposed since Lucina counted. Robin was involved with Chrom and since Chrom had no one else, it was to be assumed. It didn’t matter. Their complicated family dynamic was just something to work on. They’d all manage to get it straight eventually.

Even so, Robin wanted to talk with Morgana. Get to know her better. They had talked before, but Robin felt they could be closer.

“Morgana. I am hoping you have some free time. I wanted to take you somewhere.”

Hey cynthia- would you like to go for a flight? I was just gonna take Dante out.

The pegasus knight hadn’t expected to hear Morgana but shot her a grin. “Yeah! That sounds great, where were you planning on heading?”

Mind Games || Robin & Morgana

Robin was happy that Morgana was here. There was a lot he didn’t know about her still, but the only remedy for that was to spend time with her. Since they had some downtime between battles and all the other going-ons, he thought why not do something together? Not just that but also a good way to test her strategy skills against his own. So he proposed a game of chess.

He was setting up the game when Morgana came into the tent. He gave her a fond smile and gestured to the table. “I’m almost done. Do you know which color you’d prefer?”

“Morgana, what a cute lady,” Inigo smiled, twirling a lock of his hair in his fingers as he daydreamed. “Her pretty, apple-like cheeks... her adorable, button-like nose... even the way her hair color occasionally changes. It’s all almost unbearably cute. I can’t even be mad when she extorts me to pay for her dinner in town. I wouldn’t mind taking her out on a date... or five.”

He smiled, lost in daydream, “Maybe we could go to the shops, browse the books? Of course, my favorite tales are all a lot more fictional than her tactics stuff, but she’s extra cute when she’s excited. Or dancing when the bards are in town, I’m sure she’ll pick up dancing real quick.”

Inigo laughed a little, “Ah, well, maybe someday! For now, though, I just want to enjoy being friends. Maybe she’ll eventually agree... most likely if I offer to pay, haha.”

Inigo carefully stirred his own cafe au lait, frowning at the fathomless, creamy depths. He’d been stood up for a coffee date-- again-- when his thorough sulk was interrupted by a text:

Wait. Was one of his friends actually coming to him for love advice?? Had Morgana finally realized that, while she was an expert in the tactics of history, Inigo was a master of the strategies of love?

His thumbs began to tap-tap-tap out on his phone, sending a veritable flurry of messages,

[Text] depends... are they cute?? [Text] did they write their number on one of the bills?[Text] omg are they looking at u now?[Text] no, wait, i have to see this for myself... how they act around u.[Text] then i’ll know for sure if it’s flirting![Text] what cafe are u at?

Family Dinner || Tiki, Robin, Morgana & Henry

So it was a few weeks belated, but the family style dinner that Morgana had wanted was finally coming into fruition! It hadn't been easy given their living conditions and busy schedules, but when Robin's daughter had made her birthday wish, Henry'd become determined to grant it.

He'd had help of course. The gold that he'd gotten from that mysterious wind mage in exchange for his used up tomes really came in handy, and several of the shepherds were eager to donate a dish or two upon hearing what the dark mage was putting together. Heck, he'd even made something himself! Some sort of traditional Plegian dish that appeared to literally be a pot of boiled and mashed up turnips. All of it was set up nicely on the outskirts of the camp. Somewhere relatively private, but not too far in case they were needed.

Now all that was left was for everyone to show up. The invitations had been placed somewhere they surely couldn't be missed; One for Tiki, Robin, and Morgana respectively. Honestly, Henry wasn't sure what to expect from this as he waited patiently. He couldn't remember ever having a family dinner with anyone! ... Unless eating a bunch of peaches with Mustafa counted at all, but he somehow didn't think that it did.

Late introductions (Henry and Morgana)

Of course Henry had known who she was quite well, but he'd never actually had a proper conversation with Morgana despite his growing feelings for her father, which if he had to guess, probably actually had something to do with WHY he had been so hesitant to even say hello to her. After all, Morgana being there at all was something of a reminder that there was probably no future in store with Robin for him. Still, it felt like something he had to do, and something he'd put off for long enough.

"Hi Morgana!" Henry finally settled on, suddenly, chipperly, and probably startling her. “What are you reading there?” He asked with a bright smile as he drew closer to the girl, already knowing that it was probably just some tactical book.
