The caster settles down against Ozymandias with a quiet sigh, red hues already shut as his back lightly rests against the familiar one behind him. It had been too long since he’s been able to relax, and aside from the pharaoh, good company was always difficult to come across.. “I’ll be using you as a pillow, King of Kings..” He’s too tired to converse more than that, even if it doesn’t show too much. Yet, it wasn’t hard to lower his guard around someone he’d placed this much faith in already.
THERE WAS GREAT TRUST in any sovereign lowering their guard near another, even for something as simple as taking a small nap. Closing their eyes meant that they were not at the ready to attack and prepare for danger at a moment’s notice with them having to rely on the other person as a source of protection. Men as proud as the Wise King and himself were not privy to allowing most to see them at their most vulnerable, but it would not be the first time that such had taken place. After all, what was more vulnerable than tending to another’s wounds in private? ❝Hm?❞ Ozymandias turned his head slightly so that he could look upon the other, just the slightest bit of surprise present as brows rose. Quietly did he wait for Caster to speak further, although it seemed they had already prepared for sleep’s gentle embrace and had nothing else to share.
❝Do as you please. I shall allow it.❞ For there was perhaps nowhere safer than in the presence of the Sun King. As long as he was there, none would disturb the eldest Gilgamesh from his slumber (who would be foolish enough to approach to begin with?). A Servant might not need to rest like one who was truly alive would; however, that did not mean that they could not allow their minds to take a break from stressors that took place during the day like any other. With just a small smile, he glanced away, his attention returning to the sphinx that happily rested upon his lap as he allowed them to bat at his fingers.
