Esfinge vs Disturbio in a Lightning Match
First match is pretty easy. Esfinge is wearing white/gold and a mask while Disturbo is his opposite being maskless and wearing black and red.
Good, this is more what I prefer when it comes to lightning matches. Both Dragon Lee’s last 2 were great, but he already has a belt and is well established high on the card. I prefer lightning matches where both guys are basically midcarders who could use a big singles win.
Fuego, Stuka Jr & Soberano Jr vs Los Hijos del Infierno
Fuego as always is wearing his bright yellow/orange get up. Both Jrs are in blue. Stuka is more stout though and is in a full singlet while Soberano is wearing no top.
Los Hijos are luckily wearing the shirts that have their names on it, except Mephisto the leader of the group who just has his face on the front of his shirt.
Pretty good, all three of the tecnicos are a fun time. Fuego may be a bit silly, but in the best possible ways while Stuka fills the heavy stout guy role perfectly. Soberano shows why CMLL gave him both the Copa Jr and Gran Alternativa wins this year as he can pretty impressively move around the ropes.
Los Hijos del Infierno worked well as a team too, but weren’t too impressive in their offense. Mostly just playing the wall for the tecnico team to run into and bounce off.
Los Guerreros vs Niebla Roja, Místico and Diamante Azul
Los Guerreros are in similar green/black attire. The masks are the best way to tell them apart. Ultimo Guerrero in no mask, Euforia in black and green mask while Gran Guerrero is in the all black mask that looks just like Ultimo’s old mask design.
Niebla Roja the main enemy for the Guerreros is in red with his partners : Mistico in gold and white while the senior member of team tecnico Diamante Azul is in blue tights and mask.
It was pretty good, but like the match with this feud on Monday’s show last night... it’s hurt by the finish. Hopefully with the Universal championship starting on Friday Niebla and Ultimo both champions will get a decisive finish. It would be weird if Ultimo through that away the same way the Guerreros have thrown away wins this show and last nights show... since that match will actually have some stakes.
Highlights today were spotty, my bad think I was running too many programs when I took them... will still put them up but fair warning :
Note these aren’t all the matches from the show, just the ones I felt like highlighting.
