thinking of shenanigans that could arise from anise’s friend group suddenly having to raise a baby bc anise, in a moment of reckless impulsiveness, stole a kid who was slated to be turned into a chimera

anise needs to be hugged for 6 hours and allowed to have multiple buildups and breakdowns like that

im imagining time lapse footage that shows them cycling through being basically catatonic, trying to crawl inside of the person hugging them, weeping hysterically, and feeling 100% normal over and over for several hours

a few times they become briefly but manically certain that the key to never feeling sad, overstimulated, or empty again is to live inside of another person’s ribcage, and in order to ever feel truly safe or comfortable they need to crack this person open like a pistachio

kind of metaphorically but kind of not. so they just restlessly adjust and readjust and readjust themself trying to get as close as possible and it’s never close enough. and then they calm down again

i think it would be cute if in modern hs au anise got a huge over-the-top promposal and everyone is thinking “oh they probably hate this” but when they look over they all instantly realize “nope they love it”

it’s not that anise likes how crazy/public it is, they’re just happy their bf came all the way to their school to ask

i think “i love everybody because i love you” is a very granise sentiment at some points in their relationship. anise still needs to practice wanting/caring about Anything, but then who better to want/care for than someone who wants Everything (especially connection)

kind of a case of “these people and things are important to someone who is important to me” but in this case the people and things are, even if only a surface level, everyone and everything
