God I don't want to feel angry at Harry, but as a poc I do. The Weeknd was COMPLETELY snubbed like what the actual fuck. How the hell did that Yummy nonsense reach the Grammy list

The Weeknd being snubbed is actually appalling. Like it’s genuinely unbelievable. However I think everyone suspected he’d be in the general category awards, and Harry isn’t either, so I don’t know how anyone can imply that’s somehow Harry’s/his team’s fault. It’s not like they were making space for Harry by snubbing the Weeknd.

They also didn’t nominate Fiona Apple for AOTY which is just...like mind blowing? Imagine having one of the best rated albums of all time and 🤷🏻‍♀️

It goes to show that the Grammy’s are still dedicated to what I said they were: 1. Blatant racism and 2. Ignoring legitimate merit.

I suspect Folklore might sweep now which is, kind of a bad look for Taylor. It’s one thing to be the white woman who wins when POC are at least nominated, but it’s another to be the white woman who wins when POC are completely ignored. Show me a song on Folklore that’s as good/had as much impact as Blinding Lights please. Where is it? (And I’m saying this as someone who likes Taylor).

Honestly if Taylor wins I hope she pulls a Marlon Brando and has a POC go up and refuse the award for her and tell them they are all a bunch of dicks.

Also I learnt today that Coldplay released something this year (lol).
